TEHRAN, Iran, June 03, SPA -- Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Tuesday his country will continue its peaceful use of nuclear energy. Khamenei, who has final say in all matters in Iran, spokeat a ceremony Tuesday honoring the founder of the IslamicRepublic, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. «Iran is after the peaceful use of nuclear energy and wewill strongly pursue and reach it despite the envy of ourenemies,» he was quoted as saying by the Associated Press. «No wise nation is interested in making a nuclearweapon,» since it is not logical and cannot be used, headded.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/561759
