BAGHDAD, December 05, SPA -- The U.S. military said Saturday that an Iraqi soldier apparently shot dead two American service members while they were on a joint patrol north of Baghdad. The two U.S. soldiers were «allegedly shot by an Iraqisoldier» for «reasons that are as yet unknown,» themilitary said in a statement. The shooting occurred as American and Iraqi soldiers wereconducting operations to establish a combat outpost, themilitary said.
