GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip, December 20, SPA -- Israeli troops killed at least two Palestinian fighters in the Gaza Strip onThursday, a day after rejecting an unofficial truce offerfrom the 'Hamas' leadership of the coastal territory. A military force operating in central Gaza shot twoapproaching gunmen, the Israeli army said. Two militant groups, the Popular Resistance Committees and Islamic Jihad, each announced that one of their men had been killed, according to a report of the Associated Press.
