Brussels, November 19, SPA -- The Middle East and the Western Balkans dominated talks among EU foreign ministers gathered for regular talks in Brussels on Monday, according to DPA. The political crises in Pakistan and Georgia also came high on the agenda as the foreign ministers of the EU's 27 member states strove to find a common position on key international issues. The peace talks between Israelis and Palestinians expected in Annapolis, Maryland, later this month present a "crucial opportunity for regional and international partners to effectively support a just, lasting and comprehensive peace," the ministers said in a statement. --SPA www.spa.gov.sa/501409
