RAMALLAH, West Bank, October 17, SPA -- A senior Palestinian official on Wednesday accused Israel of putting obstacles in thepath of peace, and called for stronger U.S. intervention. «So far, we see nothing but more Israeli obstacles,»said Nabil Abu Rdeneh, an adviser to Palestinian PresidentMahmoud Abbas. «The credibility of the U.S. administrationdepends on the pressure that the U.S. administration iswilling to exert on Israel.» He spoke to reporters after Abbas met with U.S. Secretaryof State Condoleezza Rice in the West Bank.
