Brussels, December 31, SPA--The European Commission said Monday that it was concerned about possible irregularities in the recent elections inKenya, according to DPA. Kenya's judicial authorities must ensure a fair outcome to theelections, the commission send. The commission called on all sides to eschew violence and find apolitical solution. Kenya was sinking further into violence after President MwaiKibaki was returned to power in contested elections that haveinflamed ethnic tensions. At least 54 people have been killed in the unrest followingThursday's election, according to the Red Cross.
