Prince Saud said "Every man, woman and child, whether in the Arab world or in Israel, knows what is the required shape for peace .., noting that the Kingdom will not negotiate on behalf of the Palestinians or Syrians or Lebanese, but it is participating in the conference to support the peace efforts and to help those who are working to achieve peace. He said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is not expecting that the Annapolis conference would present immediate solutions because it is not looking forward solely to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israelis, but also looking for a comprehensive settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict in the Middle East. Prince Saud pointed out that the current division between the Palestinian Fatah and Hamas movements is making difficult the negotiating Palestinian stance, indicating that Saudi Arabia has worked to unify Palestinian ranks through Makkah accord which was patronized by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz and signed by officials from Fatah and Hamas. --MORE www.spa.gov.sa/503681
