Sarajevo, Oct 25, SPA -- Bosnia-Herzegovina has protested over thebeginning of work on the new coastal bridge in Croatia which isto connect the country's southern coast with the Peljesac peninsulanear Bosnia's territory, DPA quoted Bosnian media asreporting Thursday. "Unilateral moves of the Republic of Croatia do not help friendlyrelations between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia, but additionallycomplicate the border issue between the two states," Muslim member ofBosnia's tripartite state Presidency Haris Silajdzic said in awritten statement. Bosnia-Herzegovina was not against Croatia's sovereignright to connect its territories, "but not in way that violatesrights and interests of Bosnia-Herzegovina," he said. The disputed bridge, to be 55 metres high and 2.3 kilometreslong, is to connect Komarna on the Croatia's southern coast andPeljesac peninsula, passing through water and land territories whereborders between the two states were not completely defined.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/493377
