Pretoria, Oct 5, SPA - - German Chancellor Angela Merkel pledged Fridayher country's support for South Africa's efforts in preparing to hostthe 2010 football World Cup, REPORTED DPA. Germany would make its contribution to see to it that the 2010tournament would be "wonderful," Merkel said after emerging fromtalks with South African President Thabo Mbeki.
