Riyadh, November 04, SPA -- Senior Italian officials have welcomed the forthcoming visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to Italy. In statements to Riyadh-based 'Al-Yamama' magazine they hoped that the visit would further enhance bilateral relations. Giulio Andreotti, the former Italian premier, said he is very happy over the visit to his country by King Abdullah bin Abdul-aziz. He noted that the international situation is very sensitive and so it is necessary to work for a better future for the new generations. "Due to this fact, I think the visit of King Abdullah to Italy is viewed as an important event," he said. Andreotti highlighted the Kingdom's historical role and said he will be ready to participate in any parliamentary work that might contribute to developing further Saudi-Italian relations. On his part, the Italian Deputy Foreign Minister Anteni said Italy has been attaching a great importance to the visit.
