Lord Nazeer Ahmad said economic prosperity in the Kingdom will create new and profitable opportunities to the British companies. He hailed the role of King Abdullah bin Abdul-aziz in narrowing gaps among Muslims, and the Kingdom's role in bringing about peace and stability to the Middle East. Another member of the House of Lords Mohammed Baatil said the visit embodies the existing strong relations between the two countries. He noted that the Kingdom and Britain are capable of playing a constructive role as regards the peace process in the Middle East. Former British ambassador to the Kingdom Monro highlighted the Kingdom's pioneering role at all regional, Islamic and international arenas.
