KABUL, Afghanistan, August 26, SPA -- Twelve Taliban fighters were killed by artillery fire along the Pakistan-Afghanistanborder after insurgents attacked a military post withrockets and mortars, the U.S.-led coalition said Sunday. The fighting occurred as a string of bombings andgun battles elsewhere around Afghanistan left 41 people deadand six wounded on Saturday, including two foreigners hurtin a suicide bombing near the capital.
