FREETOWN, Sierra Leone, August 23, SPA -- The top two candidates inSierra Leone's presidential race will face each other in asecond round after neither won enough votes to avoid arunoff, the electoral commission said Thursday. Opposition leader Ernest Bai Koroma finished first with 44percent, compared with 38 percent for Vice PresidentSolomon Berewa of the ruling party, said Christiana Thorpe,who heads the country's independent electoral commission.
