Jeddah, Rajab 16, 1439, Apr 2, 2018, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef A Al-Othaimeen congratulated the people of the Republic of Sierra Leone for the peaceful presidential election runoff held throughout the country on 31 March 2018. In a statement, Al-Othaimeen who expressed satisfaction with the overall conduct of the second round of the presidential elections, commended all the stakeholders for their commitment to further deepen democratic governance in their country. He paid special tribute to the electorate for trooping out peacefully to exercise their right in choosing their new leader.
