The Pak-India dialogue on Wullar Barrage will be another event to be held on August 30. The talks to be held under composite dialogue, will focus on addressing the objections raised by Pakistan on the designs and structure of the Barrage which is inconsistent to the Indus Basin Treaty. A 9-member Pakistani delegation led by Secretary, Water and Power Division, Ismael Qureshi, is going to India for the purpose. Syed Jamaat Ali Shah, Pakistan Commissioner for Indus Water, will be part of the delegation. Both sides had held such talks on June 22-23 last in Islamabad.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/478361
