Pointing out to the Egyptian and Saudi stand during the crises of the occupation of Kuwait in 1990, Al-Jamhouriya said that Egypt and the Kingdom are keen on coordinating their efforts for solving the problems facing the Arab nation. Citing the problems facing the Arab world, the paper said they include the American invasion of Iraq and the Israeli occupation of Palestine. The daily said the Saudis and Egyptians follow their words with deeds. The newspapers quoted Suleiman Awad, the spokesman for the Republic' s Presidency, as saying the Saudi-Egyptian Summit had provided a good opportunity to discuss various Arab, regional and international problems, and the Saudi and Egyptian views were identical on the various problems in the light of the existing coordination between the foreign ministries in the two countries.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/498723
