New York, September 26, SPA -- Prince Saud Al-faisal, the Foreign Minister headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the opening session of 62nd meeting of the U.N. General Assembly, which was held last night in New York. The opening session was addressed by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and Chiefs of a number of delegations. Later, Prince Saud along with his counterparts in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, attended a meeting with Foreign Ministers of Rio Group which is currently chaired by Dominican. The Three GCC Foreign Ministers also held similar meetings with their counterparts from ASEAN and European Union (EU) groups, which are currently chaired by Thailand and Portugal respectively.
