New York, Sept 21, SPA -- Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al-Faisal, who heads the Saudi delegation to the 61st session of the UN general assembly, participated here yesterday in a meeting attended by Foreign Ministers of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Association of the South East Asian Countries (ASEAN) and the European Tripartite Committee. Prince Saud Al-Faisal also attended a joint meeting of the GCC Foreign Ministers, the European Tripartite Committee and US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. During the two meetings, they discussed issues of international cooperation, the latest international and regional developments, efforts to bring about peace to the Middle East in addition to UN general assembly agenda.
