BAGHDAD, August 19, SPA -- A mortar barrage slammed into an east Baghdad neighborhood Sunday, killing 12 andwounding 31, police said. Women and children were among the dead and wounded in theBaghdad mortar attack, and some houses in the neighborhoodwere damaged, according to police.
