HANOI, Vietnam, May 23, SPA -- U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill met with officials Wednesday in Vietnam. Hill held talks with Vice Foreign Minister Le Van Bang and was scheduled to meet with President Nguyen Minh Triet. «We had a very good meeting. We discussed a range ofbilateral issues _ all the things that we're doing togetherpolitically (and) economically,» Hill said of the meetingwith Bang. «We had a good discussion ... following up onthe human rights dialogue that began in Washingtonrecently.» Hill visited Thailand before arriving in Vietnam, andplans to stop in Indonesia following the Association ofSoutheast Asian Nations security forum in the Philippines.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/452342
