Amman, April 05, SPA -- The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced here today that the Arab Committee charged with effectuating the last Arab Summit's decisions and publicizing the Arab Initiative will meet in Cairo next Sunday. A press statement issued in Amman earlier today said the meeting, which is being convened to form a working group to decide on the committee's mechanism and movement in the international arena to activate the Arab initiative approved at Riyadh Summit last week. The statement said the members of the assigned committee, will also hold a meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and the permanent members of the Security Council; the Quartet and other international bodies to seek their endorsement for the Arab Initiative; start serious negotiations relying on the basis of international conventions, the principles of the land for peace and occupation of others' lands by force.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/438542
