Abu Dhabi, Mar 18, SPA -- The United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan yesterday received a telephone call from Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazin), President of the Palestinian National Authority. Sheikh Khalifa was briefed by Abu Mazin on the situation in the Palestinian territories following formation of the new national unity government there, the UAE news agency "WAM" reported. Abu Mazin thanked Sheikh Khalifa as well as the government and people of the UAE for the unlimited support to the Palestinian people. Sheikh Khalifa reiterated UAE's support to the unity of the Palestinian people and to their aspirations to regain their legitimate rights and to establish their independent state. --SPA www.spa.gov.sa/433631
