Beijing/Seoul, Mar 20, SPA -- Six nations made no progress during a second day of talks on North Korea's nuclear weapons programme on Tuesday, as Pyongyang refused to discuss detailed plans until it received 25million dollars in frozen funds, the chief Japanese negotiator said. "There was no progress at all today," Japan's Kyodo news agency quoted chief negotiator Kenichiro Sasae as saying. Host nation China confirmed that a planned meeting of the six delegation heads was cancelled on Tuesday afternoon. Sasae said North Korea had refused to take part in the meeting. The latest round of talks between North Korea, the United States, China, South Korea, Japan and Russia began amid optimism on Monday after diplomats said an agreement had been reached on the release ofNorth Korean funds frozen in a Macau bank, removing a major sticking point in the negotiations.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/434140
