Riyadh, July 04, SPA -- Dr. Abdulrhman Hamad Al-Attiyah, commented here today on the 2nd extraordinary meeting of GCC Defense and Foreign Ministers and Chiefs of National Security, which was convened last night to discuss current developments and challenges facing the region. In a press statement after the meeting, Al-Attiyah said the meeting is continuation of the previous meeting held in Jeddah three years ago to evaluate security and political situations. "It is natural that the ministers held a meeting to review and evaluate point of views concerning these developments in the region," he added. Al-Attiyah said that the GCC Ministerial Council meeting will be held in Jeddah on Thursday.
