Cairo, Rajab 14, 1437, Apr 21, 2016, SPA -- Council of the Arab League (AL) started here today the activities of its extraordinary meeting at the level of Permanent Representatives of the Member States. The meeting was chaired by Bahrain's Ambassador to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to AL, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and in the presence of AL Secretary General Dr. Nabil Elaraby. The meeting will discuss ways to take a unified Arab stance against the Israeli escalation and serious statements recently made by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in which he claimed Israeli annexation of the occupied Arab Syrian Golan Heights to Israel.
