Riyadh, May 26, SPA - Secretary General of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul-Rahman Al-Atiyyah denounced today the continuous attacks on the Palestinian civilians, pointing out that this escalation unveils the planned intentions of hitting the unity of the Palestinian people whenever there is a joint Palestinian work to enhance this unity. In a press statement, Al-Atiyyah noted that bloodshed and the arrest of Palestinian officials proved that there were certain Israeli plans that do not go in line with positive efforts to achieve peace and security in the region. "International silence on the continuous Israeli practices prompts the Tel Aviv regime to go ahead with its aggression unhindered," he added.
