Islamabad, May 17, SPA -- Pakistan's Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Chairman General Ehsanul Haq, has held strategic discussion with Chief of Defense Staff of Canadian Armed Forces General Rick Hillier in Ottawa, according to an official statement. The meeting was also attended by Ward Elcock, Deputy Minster of National Defense, Vincent Rigby, Assistant Deputy Minister Policy, Dan Ross Assistant Deputy Minister Material and top leadership of the Armed Forces besides other important officials. Haq is the first ever Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee from Pakistan to visit Canada. The two sides held detailed talks on security issues and expressed the desire to enhance military to military cooperation.
