On Monday, Putin will pay a brief visit to Qatar, and leave for Amman later in the day where he is scheduled to meet Jordanian leaderhsip, Itar-Tass reported. In Doha, President Putin will hold vis-a-vis talks with Qatari leadership to be followed by a meeting between the two countries’ delegations. Several cooperation agreements are expected to be signed. President Putin will arrive in Jordan late on Monday. The official part of his official visit will take place on Tuesday. The president will meet Jordanian King Abdallah II and will hold official talks with the participation of the delegations of the two countries. Putin will be present at the signing of several agreements and will meet the head of the Palestinian National Authority Mahmoud Abbas, Itar-Tass reported. The Russian President's accompanying delegation on his middle east tour, included Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov; presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko; Transport Minister Igor Levitin; a number of high-ranking officials and businessmen.
