TEL AVIV, Israel, Dec 7, SPA -- Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Thursday he had no intentions of opening peace talks with Syria, despite the recommendations of a U.S. advisory group, but said Israel wants «with all our might» to restart peace talks with the Palestinians. The Iraq Study Group report, released Wednesday inWashington, calls for direct talks between Israel and itsneighbors, Syria, Lebanon and the Palestinians, and says that a concerted effort to resolve the Israel-Arab conflict would improve the situation in Iraq.
