ISLAMABAD, Feb 5, SPA _ Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf sought to reassure Kashmiris on Monday that their wishes would «guide» Islamabad's efforts to settle its dispute with India, the Associated Press reported. In remarks to mark Pakistan's annual Kashmir Solidarity Day, Musharraf expressed solidarity with the families of thousands of Kashmiris killed in the decades-old conflict and said Kashmiris had «inherent rights ... to determine their own destiny.» «I want to reassure all Kashmiris that ultimately it istheir wishes that would guide us as we pursue a just andhonorable settlement of this tragic dispute,» Musharrafsaid in a written statement.
