Amman, Jan 10, SPA --The US State secretary Condoleezza Rice will arrive in Jordan on Sunday within the framework of her tour of a number of countries in the region, it was announced here today. A statement released here said the talks of Rice with the Jordanian officials will focus on the current situation in the Middle East, especially the situation in Palestine and Iraq. The statement added that Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdul Ilah Al-Khateeb, along with his Egyptian and GCC counterparts, will meet Rice during her visit to Kuwait next week. The participants of the meeting, which will be the fourth of its kind, are scheduled to discuss the current situation in the Middle East, notably the situation in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon as well as the Iranian nuclear issue.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/416970
