The Hague, NOV. 9, SPA -- The International Criminal Court begins its work in The Hague Thursday with preliminary proceedings in the case of Thomas Lubanga Dyilo, who is accused of recruiting and deploying child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, dpa reported. Over the next three weeks the court is set to hear from both prosecution and defence in the case against Lubanga, who is in custody in The Hague, before deciding whether to initiate a formal trial, probably early next year.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/401798
