Kabul, Aug 4, SPA -- Afghan and coalition forces have killed 25 Taliban fighters in a counterterrorism operation in Afghanistan's southern Helmand province, military officials said Friday. The casualties came in a firefight that erupted when Afghan and coalition forces came under attack by small-arms and rocket-propelled-grenade fire Thursday in the Nahr Surkh district while they were conducting a cordon and search mission, the US-ledcoalition was quoted as saying by DPA.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/380693
