Pakistan, Britain forms counter-terrorism Team

Islamabad, Sept 11, SPA -- Pakistan and Britain have agreed to form a joint working group for counter-terrorism and control of trans-national crimes, officials said. Britain has invited Pakistan interior ministry officials to sign an agreement in London. British Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Dr Kim Howells, who held a meeting with Interior Secretary Syed Kamal Shah in Islamabad, discussed various aspects of the formation of the working group. British Home Secretary John Reid had sent a letter to the interior ministry about forming the group, officials said.
