Berlin, SEPT 1, SPA -- German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet Kuwait'sPrime Minister Sheikh Nasser al-Mohammed al-Ahmad al-Sabah in Berlinnext week for talks on the situation in the Middle East, dpa quoted a governmentalspokesman as saying Friday. The two leaders will also discuss trade issues and bilateralrelations when they confer on September 7, government spokesmanUlrich Wilhelm said. The Kuwaiti premier will be welcomed with full military honours atthe chancellor's office ahead of the talks. Meetings with Foreign Minister Frank Walter Steinmeier andEconomics Minister Michael Glos are also planned during the primeminister's visit from September 6-8.
