Berlin, July 16, SPA -- British Prime Minister Gordon Brown is to hold talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on Monday evening during his first trip abroad as head of government, DPA reported today. The prime minister is scheduled to have "wide-ranging" discussions with Merkel which are expected to include the timetable for introducing the new European constitution negotiated by his predecessor, Tony Blair. Merkel and Brown's agenda also includes talks on other EU issues, climate change, counter-terrorism and international affairs, spokesmen for the two leaders said.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/467881
