Tehran, Feb 5, SPA -- Iran said Sunday it will hold talkswith Moscow on a proposal to enrich Iranian uranium inRussia, a day after a senior Iranian official had declaredthe proposal dead. "The situation has changed. Still, we will attend talkswith Russia on February 16," Foreign Ministry spokesmanHamid Reza Asefi told a press conference. On Saturday Javad Vaeidi, deputy head of the powerfulNational Security Council, declared the Russian proposaldead after the U.N. nuclear watchdog reported Iran to theU.N. Security Council. "There is no adequate reason to pursue the Russianplan," Vaeidi had said on state-run television Saturday. But Asefi told a different story Sunday, according to a report of the Associated Press. "The proposal has to conform itself with the newcircumstances," Asefi said.
