Colombo, Sri Lanka, Dec 4, SPA -- Six Sri Lankan soldiers werekilled and three wounded in a powerful land mine blast innorthern Sri Lanka on Sunday, the defense ministry said. The soldiers were traveling on a tractor trailer when ithit the land mine in the northern Jaffna Peninsula, 300kilometers (186 miles) north of the capital Colombo, themedia unit of the defense ministry said.
