ISTANBUL, Turkey, Oct 14, SPA -- A land mine blast killed two Turkish soldiers in southeastern Turkey, the local governor's office said Saturday. The mine was believed to have been placed byautonomy-seeking Kurdish rebels who are active in the area, the report said. It was unclear whether it had been laid before or after the rebels declared a unilateral cease-fire with Turkey on Oct. 1. The soldiers were killed near Hakkari, a town in Turkey's southeastern-most corner on the border with Iraq, the Associated Press reported.--SPA www.spa.gov.sa/396136
