Islamabad, July 10, SPA -- A seven-member parliamentary delegation headed by Pakistan Lower House of Parliament or National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Hussain has left for Malaysia on a six day official visit. The visit is an opportunity to interact with the parliamentarians and official bodies of Malaysia to project better image of Pakistan, Hussain said before departure. He added that Malaysia is an important country of the region with which Pakistan has close economic and cultural ties. “We want to further strengthen our relations for the betterment of people of both the countries.” The speaker said the delegation will hold meetings with the King of Malaysia, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Parliament, cabinet members and Chief Executive of the Malaysian Palm Oil Company.
