Kandahar, March 3 (SPA) -- Five foreign troops were wounded, at least one seriously, in an attack on an armoured vehicle in southern Afghanistan on Friday, the U.S.-led military force in the country said. A U.S. military spokesman declined to give nationalities. "A car full of explosives blew up near a Canadian armoured vehicle. The bomber was killed," General Rahmatullah Raufi, commander of the Afghan army's southern region, told Reuters. The blast occurred in Daman district, about 15 km (10 miles) south of Kandahar and about 10 km (six miles) from the airport, where Canadian troops are based. --SPA 13 53 Local Time 10 53 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/336275
