'We do believe that press freedom requires responsibility and respect of beliefs of any religion, but at the same we strongly condemn acts of violence and attacks on diplomatic missions in Damascus and Beirut and other places. The statement underlined the importance of resumption of dialogue among followers of various religions, and said 'we call on the concerned authorities in various countries to urge their citizens to practice self-control and quietness and to behave with the sprit of friendship and mutual respect'.--SPA 12 00 Local Time 09 00 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/324450
