Kuwait, Jan 29, SPA -- The Kuwaiti cabinet named today Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah as the Kuwaiti Emir. The cabinet held today an extraordinary meeting following the meting of the council of the nation which was held earlier today to pledge allegiance for Sheikh al-Sabah in line with the recommendation of the cabinet.
