KABUL, Afghanistan, Aug 13, SPA -- Rebels killed an Afghan soldier and wounded two others during a clash insoutheastern Afghanistan, an official said Sunday. The clash occurred in Barmal district of southeasternPaktika province Saturday, said Sayyed Jamal, the spokesman for the province's governor. No information was available about any rebel casualties, the Associated Press reported. Separately, a clash between police officers in Andarabdistrict of central Baglan province, left one police deadand four wounded Saturday, said Kamin, a police official inthe province, who goes by only one name.
