Gaza City, Gaza Strip, SPA -- The Gaza-Egypt border willonly reopen as part of an international agreement, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas said Monday. Abbas spoke a day after his security forces plugged thelast holes in the border fortifications, ending a week ofchaos during which thousands of Gazans and Egyptiansflooded across the frontier without controls. "The(border) terminal will be open when there is aninternational agreement," Abbas said Monday. "We want to do the right job at the right time because wewant to act as a state, as a responsible authority," Abbas was quoted as saying by The Associated Press.
