Agartala, India, Sept 25 (SPA) Separatist rebels killed eight Bengali-speaking settlers in India's remote and restive Tripura state on Sunday, police said. National Liberation Front of Tripura militants, who are fighting for an independent tribal homeland, fired indiscriminately with automatic weapons when they raided several in Santinagar, some 70 km (44 miles) east of the state capital Agartala. "Seven people including three women were killed at the scene.
