GCC Ministerial Council starts session tomorrow in Abu Dhabi

Riyadh, Nov 12, SPA -- The GCC Ministerial Council, which comprises the foreign ministers, will hold its 97th session in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Abdulrahman Al-Atiyyah, the Secretary General of The Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), said the foreign ministers will review reports and recommendations submitted by ministerial committees in the economic, social, educational and environmental domains in addition to the military and security sides within the framework of the GCC joint cooperation. The recommendations will be submitted to the forthcoming GCC Summit, due to be held next month in Abu Dhabi. Al-Atiyyah noted that the GCC ministerial Council will also review the current developments in Arab region, notably the latest developments in Iraq and the occupied Palestinian territories as well as the current situation in Lebanon and Syria in addition to the Iranian occupation of the three UAE's islands.
