Baghdad, Iraq, Oct 25, SPA -- Two U.S. Marines were killed by aroadside bomb during fighting with insurgents in westernIraq, the military said Tuesday. The deaths occurred Friday near Amiriyah, 40 kilometers(25 miles) west of Baghdad, the military said in astatement. The Marines were assigned to the Regimental Combat Team 8,2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force(Forward).
