Baghdad, June 7, SPA -- Two U.S. Marines have died as aresult of separate roadside bombings near the volatilewestern Iraqi city of Fallujah, the military said Tuesday. One Marine was killed in action Monday when a bombtargeted his vehicle near Fallujah, 65 kilometers (40miles) west of Baghdad, the military said in a statement. Another Marine was seriously wounded Sunday and died a daylater also near Fallujah in a similar incident. Both Marines were assigned to Regimental Combat Team-8,2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force. The names of the Marines are being withheld pendingnext-of-kin notification.
