Baghdad, July 25, SPA -- Suicide car bombers struck twiceMonday in Baghdad, killing 14 other people and injuringnearly 30, hospital and government officials said. The first blast occurred shortly after sunrise at asecurity checkpoint near the Sadeer Hotel in centralBaghdad, officials said. The Iraqi Defense Ministry said 12people, not including the bomber, were killed and 18 wereinjured, including security guards and civilians. About three hours later, a second suicide bomber targeteda former Saddam Hussein palace being used by the Ministryof Interior police command. Two commandoes were killed and10 people were injured, The Associated Press quoted police as saying. Maj. Gen.
